Nelly Korda, a seven-time LPGA winner, showcased her tenacity and skill in the LPGA Tour, emphasizing her knack for making competitions exciting. Recently, she clinched her second consecutive LPGA title at the Seri Pak Championship, following a dramatic playoff win over Lydia Ko at the LPGA Drive On Championship in January. Despite leading comfortably after an eagle on the 14th hole, Korda faced challenges towards the end, resulting in a tie with Ryan O’Toole, leading to a playoff.

Korda admitted to experiencing nerves after her eagle, contributing to her dramatic finish. However, her preparation and mindset shift, guided by her coach Jamie Mulligan, proved pivotal. Korda praised Mulligan for his support and positive influence, especially after taking a significant break from competitive golf. Their strategy and Korda’s resilience paid off in the playoff, where she secured victory with a decisive birdie putt.

This triumph marks Korda’s 10th LPGA Tour title, making her one of the most successful players since her debut in 2018. Her achievements this season include becoming the first player to win two of her first three starts since Karrie Webb in 2011 and the first American with two wins before April 1st since Stacy Lewis in 2013. Additionally, this victory propels her back to the top of the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, highlighting her exceptional talent and determination in the world of golf.
